I’ve spent 15 years working on the gym floor with clients of all ages, from 17 to 85. For the last 6 years, I’ve also been a mobile personal trainer, running boot camps and providing one-on-one training. On top of that, I have 30 years of experience as a swimming coach.

Before all of that, I served 6 years in the Royal Navy. During my time there, I competed as a national-level swimmer and worked as a rescue swimmer.

As I approach my 60s I want to ensure that I’ll continue to be fit and well so I can continue to do all the things I enjoy.
I booked a block of sessions with Stuart with the aim of increasing my strength and toning up.
Stuart’s knowledge of the mathematics of strength has allowed myself more than I ever could.
For example , my leg press max on my own was 120kg but thanks to RPE calculations this is now 170kg!
I better understand how to make sure my precious time in the gym is used to maximum benefit.
I’ll continue to work with Stuart to keep improving. It’s never too late to become the best version of yourself.

I started working with Stuart in April 2024 having moved back to the area. I am over 60 and my fitness prior to working with Stuart was poor, following various life events.
I had worked with personal trainers in the past.
I met Stuart when I visited the sports village. He took the time to discuss my goals and previous experiences.
He is very approachable and easy to work with.
He tailors the programme to each individual and supports them to meet their goals. His programme challenges the individual but is achievable with his expert knowledge and support. My progress over the last four months with Stuart’s support has been more than I expected, it has given me confidence to continue to push myself with his encouragement and to continue to improve. I look forward to further improvement. I will continue to work with Stuart going forward.
He is always flexible with timings of his sessions which is very much appreciated.
Stuart is a great personal trainer I would recommend him to anyone who wants a knowledgeable supportive trainer to push them to meet their goals and beyond.

Stuart is an outstanding coach and motivator. He exudes enthusiasm for his craft and you cannot help but share joy in the progress you make together. He tailors each session to you short and long term goals and does everything in his power to help you meet those.

His energy around the gym feels limitless and really helps you push that extra 10-20% out of your work out and smash your goals.

He is incredibly personable and whether this is you first or 100th time in the gym he will work with you to not only get the most out of your time in the gtm but to actually enjoy it too.

During the four months that I trained with him, Stuart demonstrated a level of expertise and dedication that exceeded all of my expectations. He took the time to understand my individual needs and goals, and then created a customized workout plan that was challenging yet achievable.
