Hi my name is Rob, I am a Personal Trainer at Hatfield Leisure Centre, I've been in the fitness industry for over 5 years running fitness classes and PT sessions.
My own interests for this started over 7 years ago when I started running with friends during the week/weekends. Taking part in 10k's,1/2 marathons, marathons, country to capital which is a 45 mile run, London to Dover run which is 87 miles, which then resulted with me finishing the 100 mile Enduroman Ultra (target).
After this my own target changed and I decided to hit the gym, this is where i found my passion, so I pushed my career to show people that they can achieve dreams and goals and that there is no boundaries.
I am also qualified in kettlebells, suspension training, group training, circuit training and boxing and pad work.
I am here to help you achieve your goals and targets with the help of training sessions in the gym and online support.
I look forward to working with you all.

I have been training with Rob for about 6 months. I have disabilities, problems with walking and other things . Rob has helped me get fitter than I was and able to move around a lot more, and he encourages me and just knows how much I can do. Rob is very easy to talk to .He is helpful and patient and always gives good advice

Introduced by my wife and this dude turned out to be what l needed to go back to being a gym lover and lifting weights again. A few years ago, l sustained a shoulder injury and for me l never thought l would go back to weight lifting again. Rob has been very patient with me and has worked with me adjusting my programme accordingly and always constantly asking me if my shoulder was ok. I feel l am in the best form of my life and most importantly l have also achieved one of my goals which was to lose belly fat. Rob is laid back and very easy to get along with. Rob has great knowledge on many different techniques and exercises that made me feel more confident on knowing what I can workout and set myself goals. I have been training with Rob for many years now and can honestly say that he is everything that you want in a trainer. He’s knowledgeable, supportive, motivating and as an added bonus he’s a really great guy so your sessions are far more enjoyable when you can have a laugh along the way! Over the years when I have had injuries, Rob makes sure that he adapts the workouts to accommodate. Rob definitely keeps me motivated on the days when I don’t want to train, and is really encouraging to help me achieve my goals, even outside of our sessions. I cannot recommend Rob highly enough!

Wow, I’m so glad I made the right decision by choosing Rob as my personal trainer. I just like his humour and his personalised planned sessions for me. I like the fact that he does not pressurise you to book sessions but because of how good he is, I see myself booking more sessions with him. My 14 years old son who has some learning difficulties has been working with Rob for over a year. Rob put together a work out plan to improve my sons muscle coordination and overall fitness.
I can see significant improvements and my son always looks forward to his sessions with Rob.
Rob shows enthusiasm and patience. He is very supportive, always flexible and accommodating with last minute changes. A thoroughly nice person all round.

I’ve been training with rob now for a few years now he always knows how to get the best out of me and works with me had some excellent training sessions achieving personal best weights and some cardio sessions that push me to my limits would highly recommend him as a trainer

I look forward to my weekly training sessions with Rob. He has been training me for nearly 2 years now. He pushes me so I can achieve new personal bests in weight training, but is also sensitive to what is possible within my limits (I have a mobility impairment). Rob likes problem solving and working out different ways I can exercise from the ‘norm’ so we can try out new things to see what happens. I also like that Rob is easy to talk to and takes an interest in my whole life beyond the gym. This means we have a good laugh sometimes!

Following too many years of inactivity and my recent retirement, I decided to take one last shot at losing weight and getting fit. I knew that doing it on my own was doomed to failure - I've joined and left too many gyms in the past - so I decided to sign up with a personal trainer. I signed up with Rob in late August and couldn't have made a better decision. From the outset, Rob designed fun but challenging sessions with a variety of exercises designed to provide a full body workout. Importantly, he pushed me a little further with each session, keeping me focussed and committed to the cause. Three months on, I have lost two stones in weight, I'm in the shape of my life and have the energy and enthusiasm to keep building on the great progress that Rob has helped me to achieve so far. He is very professional, very friendly and very supportive. If only he didn't support Liverpool.......!!! I would thoroughly recommend Rob to anyone - you'll get fit and make a new friend at the same time
