Rei’s workout regime was well structured focussing on my needs and importantly taking into considerations some constraints around back issues. Rei’s approach is definitely more personal than actual trainer. He listened to my fears around getting started and you could even say he was a bit of a therapist for me too. We worked together on a program that suited me, my needs, my time, my background and my budget!
He’s dedicated to his clients. Even if we didn’t have a session booked he’d still check in, offer his advice and be on WhatsApp for all the questions I threw at him no matter what time it was.

Yes I definitely would recommend, Rei is very personable and has shown deep knowledge of nutritional information and anatomy. He knows what works and what doesn’t and is very focused on sustainable results which is key in this current world with its fixation on a quick fix. He has been able to build routines that are varied and is always willing to experiment to try new things and adapts if these changes don’t work out. He has done well to take into consideration my specific requirements and needs around managing back and sciatic pain. He makes good use of the technology available and is able to share information and advice and recommend exercises and eating advice outside of the gym.

I've had a few sessions with Rei now (three or four, I think?), and honestly, I’m really happy with how things are going. He’s great at pushing you without making it feel overwhelming, and he really makes sure you’re doing the exercises properly—good form, right weights, proper timing, all that. As a sports / deep tissue massage therapist, I have been watching personal trainers for years. I’ve always looked for people who I can refer clients to. Rei is my first choice. He’s better qualified than most trainers, very knowledgeable and looks at how he can help you in a particular and often inventive way. He also makes training fun - though it’s tough too. He also has a great sense of style and more shoes than Imelda Marcos. Highly recommended except for those who prefer to sleep all day long.

Having Rei in my corner has been the inspiration I need to make real gains. I never thought I could be the guy in the gym at 6:30am but it was a pleasure because by 6:35 Rei has me laughing and smiling and crushing heavier weights than I could have ever imagined.
