About
Hello and thanks for visiting my profile. It was 2010 and I’d done a few different jobs but never found anything that I felt I would stick at. Until the lightbulb moment hit and I said to myself do what you enjoy and you’ll make a career of it. Fast forward to now and I can honestly say I love this job now just as much as I did then.

I’ve always loved training myself and going to the gym has just been part of my life. So to be able to share my passion and knowledge to help clients achieve their goals is the most rewarding feeling. I also understand that not everyone finds going to the gym easy as it can be a scary place so this is where my combined set of knowledge and people skills can help you.

From years of experience and knowledge gained my patient approach will ensure you feel comfortable and confident in not only entering the gym but also in building your health and fitness. I’ll give you the motivation and encouragement you need to feel good about yourself and together we’ll set out to achieve your goals.

My specialist areas are strength & conditioning, injury prevention & rehabilitation, chronic health conditions and disability. I’ve helped clients to manage health conditions including arthritis, back pain, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and stroke through structured programming and adapting exercises so they’re safe and effective to suit their needs.

I’ve also been a Master Trainer for Life Fitness and Team ICG since 2017 so I deliver education courses for instructors to develop their own teaching skills.

In terms of my own achievements and training I do like to lead by example and have completed the London marathon twice as well as an Ironman. My favourite endurance event is Hyrox as I love the variety of it and if I had to pick one exercise from it that gives you that bang for your buck feeling it’s the sled push.

If you’re looking for a personal trainer that is approachable, professional and down to earth then please get in touch and we can get to work to help you achieve your goals.

I am diabetic with Fibromyalgia and arthritis, so not the easiest person to train, but Ollie never fails to help me to keep moving forward. Everyday is difficult in its own way for me, but Ollie is fab. We are a team and adapting ways to help my body reach my goals is key. So glad I found him. There should be gold stars!

I was referred to Ollie through the active lifestyles program and had been told it was likely I’d need long term medication for high blood pressure. I also had some trouble with ankle pain. Within four weeks, I’d lost nearly a stone, my blood pressure was testing normal and my ankle pain had gone. I’d long since given up on being someone who goes to the gym but after a year with Ollie I go three times a week and enjoy every moment. My confidence has improved and I see exercise differently. He is honestly the best personal trainer I’ve ever met. He is patient, highly skilled, understanding and is always supportive. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Five stars is woefully inadequate but it’s the most I’m allowed to give…

Having worked in some very tight spaces for years as an electrician my neck and back especially have taken an absolute bashing, so when I was introduced to Ollie it was a blessing. I started with 10 x 1 hour rehabilitation programme and it worked wonders. In total I’ve now had over 30 sessions with Ollie and have now joined the Gym locally which I never thought I’d be able to do. Ollie is absolutely marvellous, his knowledge and professionalism is second to none and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who struggles with chronic back and neck pain
Thank you Ollie and see you at Boot camp on Tuesday

Ollie is brilliant PT who trains both my wife and myself, he creates excellent sessions that have allowed us to improve our strength, form and overall fitness. Ollie is patient and considerate and adapts planned sessions to meet specific health or fitness needs. We always come away feeling challenged but satisfied, we would heartily recommend Ollie if you are looking for a Personal Trainer.

Ollie is the best! I feel very lucky to have found a PT with such a stellar skill set. He's got a huge knowledge bank and so much experience, so nothing really fazes him - he just gets on with making sure you have a great session and that you’re meeting your own goals. He makes training in the gym accessible, even for someone like me who used to find it a bit of an alien environment. I’ve made so much progress since I started working with him, so I’m very grateful.

Ollie is very patient and adapts the approach of each session to suit the energy/effort level that I have. He has also made me achieve a number of personal bests and keeps moving me to better levels of fitness.
