Hey! I’m Oak. Your new personal trainer here at Cockermouth leisure centre. Do you want to feel fitter, healthier, happier and gain confidence?

I offer one to one training or buddy training for couples or you and a friend.
I understand that we are often our own worst enemy, trapped by self doubt and negative self talk.

I want to help you develop a kind relationship with yourself that enables you to unlock your potential.

Together we will find a way to incorporate exercise that you love into your busy schedule, so it becomes a part of the day that you can look forward to.

How I will help you:
● I will help you to identify current barriers that are holding you back and work with you to set fitness, lifestyle and nutrition goals.
● I will develop a tailored fitness programme for you that ensures challenges, progression and most importantly enjoyment.
● I will give you personalised nutrition guidance that fits with your dietary requirements. I don’t believe restriction in your diet is sustainable or the answer to losing weight, instead I want to help you find healthier alternatives to junk foods that you can enjoy guilt free.
● I will hold you accountable with weekly check ins and I will be reachable over WhatsApp for continuous support and advice.
● Your menstrual cycle or menopause may be affecting your energy levels, I will adapt your training accordingly.
● I will be a part of your fitness journey every step of the way.
Qualifications
● Level 2 Fitness Instructor
● Level 3 Personal Trainer

I am currently studying towards a NASM approved biomechanics course - corrective exercise specialist. That identifies and improves bodily limitations and performance.

Oak is a fab PT! I honestly look forward to our sessions every week because she’s an absolute pleasure to train with and she’s so easy to get along with. I have always enjoyed fitness but I used to train quite sporadically. Since I started PT sessions Oak has inspired me to push myself more than I thought I could and now I feel far more confident in the gym. I have really noticed results in my strength which I wouldn’t have achieved without her expertise and knowledge. I would highly recommend Oak to anyone looking to start PT sessions 😊

I've been working with Oak since April 2024, which i have really enjoyed, the hour sessions go so quickly, I can see a big improvement with my strength. When we first met Oak asked me questions about my goals and has tailored our sessions to my needs. I'm new to running and I was having hip pain as I increased my distance, I'm now pain free which is brilliant and I ran my first 1/2 marathon. Oak is very approachable, friendly and professional. I would recommend her highly.

I’ve been seeing Oak since April 24. I was already going to the gym, but I was doing the same stuff and needed a lift. I signed up with Oak and I’ve gained so much confidence, she is very supportive and knows exactly what work my body needs. I’ve now lost more weight and gained a better body shape. I’ve only been with Oak since December but I am loving our sessions! She has really helped me find more confidence in the gym, shown me I can push harder and I’m definitely seeing results already. I usually find my own sessions drag but with Oak they go in so fast, I enjoy them and I feel so good afterwards. Thanks so much.

I couldn't recommend Oak enough to anyone looking for a PT who will train, guide and motivate you! She's so fun to be around that you forget that you're actually there and working hard. She's helped me smash my goals over the past year and continuously helps and supports my fitness plans. Oak's background in running has really helped me when training for a half marathon, but particularly with the strength element and getting a good balance between cardio and strength workouts. 10/10 PT!
