Being fit and living healthy is what I know and love. I believe in training with intensity, eating to fuel your body and having fun while doing it. I think outside the box to ensure my clients stay dedicated and interested in their fitness plan. Josh helped me understand a lot about weight loss and become more aware of my activity on a day to day basis. For someone like me who has always struggled with losing weight and gaining it back, I have really done so much progress. I would definitely recommend his sessions as he takes out the best of you and really supports you reach your fitness goals, step by step and by trusting the process even more than you would do at times. He is amazing!!!

Ive trained with various PTs for the past 10 years, but never have they been quite like Josh. I met Josh when I was feeling horrendously over weight and too anxious to even walk in to a gym. Josh made me feel comfortable from the moment we met, took the time to really understand how I was feeling and what I wanted to achieve, and made sure he mixed up the sessions to keep them fun and what I like about him is we don't do the the same thing each time. Nearly 4 years later, we are still training together, sessions are still as challenging as they were when we first started, he works with me on my food plan, checks in with me between sessions and makes me accountable for the food I'm eating! I've lost nearly 3 stone over the past 4 years (which has been gradual but I've kept it off) and have never felt as fit as I do now. I can't believe I'm saying this but training has actually become a way of life. He comes highly recommended!

What can I say!
5***** Josh your such a fun, motivated informative and encouraging PT who can give advise on meal plan and goals and make it fun. I never thought I would EVER love the gym but I do as he has helped me grow in confidence to walk into the gym and do my thing- however without him I would never push myself and do anything that he teaches as he loves thinking outside the box it makes it so much more challenging and I’m getting abs! Oh and I do LOVE the boxing!!! Put’em up!

I cannot recommend Josh enough as a personal trainer. I have been training with him on a weekly basis for over a year and I have not only lost weight and changed shape but also I gained a better mobility and better understanding of nutrition.
I have history of slipped disks and herniated disks and Josh knew exactly what exercises I should or not do to tone it without putting pressure on it to keep me moving.
I have lost nearly 3 stones since and feel much more confident to go around the gym on my own.
Josh is approachable, professional and fun to work with. I highly recommend him.

Josh Smith – Five Star personal trainer.
Having recently retired and keen to maintain a healthy and active life style, my family encouraged my to join my local gym. Membership included an assessment by a personal trainer, which in this instance was Josh Smith.

After discussing my objectives and putting me though an initial training session, Josh was able to design a full training and health program for me, which included a series of PT sessions spreed over a six month period. Each session was meticulously supervised and adapted to maximise the benefit and then jointly assessed with new targets set for the following week.

As a result of Josh’s encouragement, guidance and expertise I have not only achieved, but also exceeded, all of my initial goals and must praise him for setting me on a path that, while being initially challenging, has now turned into a way of life.

If you are looking for somebody who understands you, and is able to work with you in a friendly and structured manner to achieve your health and fitness goals, then I cannot recommend Josh highly enough.

I wanted a happy and motivational trainer. Josh is amazing. Even though I moan and frequently get tired he keeps me laughing with every workout.
I feel safe with josh he makes the effort to know me and really wants to help me get fit

Each week josh weighs me, gives me new goals and new workouts.
Even when I’ve had bad days, cried and thought I couldn’t do it. He texts me after every session which I really appreciate.
I’ve lost 3 stone in 4.5 months with josh.

I cannot recommend josh enough - he listens, pushes me and makes me feel like I can achieve anything.

Before meeting Josh, I would go to the gym, get on the cycling machine for an hour, and go home. Obviously, this was not a very effective work out and I was gaining nothing from my time spent at the gym.

After four months of working with Josh I can feel myself getting stronger every week and he truly pushes me in a way I cannot imagine I could achieve alone. His jubilant nature means that I have not only gotten a great personal trainer, but also someone I would consider a good friend.

I have used Josh for a number of years since initially meeting him when I was a member of David Lloyd Cheam. Josh is a very enthusiastic and engaging PT and I wouldn’t go without our weekly sessions. Wow!! What can I say. Josh is fantastic. His sessions are ALWAYS varied and fun. Sometimes you forget you’re actually working hard because you’re having such a great time.
I’d recommend him to anyone, whatever your age(I’m 60!) or fitness level.

Josh is an incredibly understanding and flexible PT. He copes phenomenally with my disability and is able to incorporate an effective exercise routine that allows to me to lose the maximum about of weight possible whilst remaining safe.

He is fabulous with the mental health side of weight loss and has helped me become more body positive whilst losing weight.
