My name is Helga. 6 years ago I have started my journey when I had a very sedentary lifestyle, also in all my childhood I was classified as overweighted. Several times I lost weight but with time gained it back. The last time successfully learned to maintain with changing my whole lifestyle.

I am now dedicated to helping others, maintaining is a bigger challenge than your weight loss. I can teach you how to get there and keep through small adaptable changes.

My “can do” attitude helped me to compete in a functional fitness competition which I never imagined, - so nothing is impossible for you too.

Helga has been my PT for over a year and the difference in me both physically and mentally is noticeable. Helga understands when to push me to my limits as I enjoy tough sessions, she also knows when it's not going to be one of those days (we all have them!)
Helga has made me think about mindfulness much more and has introduced me to yoga which is something I don't think I would have ever considered!
Our sessions are a lot of fun and I quite like the aching afterwards as it reminds me I've had a challenging session!
I can't recommend Helga enough!

Back in 2023 I'd hit the gym, cardio mainly, to lose some weight and start to regain some health as I head toward my 50s (:o). That was going well but I've never been one to be able to get my head around more focused training and goals, especially weights/strength, so met with Helga and she has been my PT ever since, heading into 2 years at time of writing this. She listens to my goals and has tailored my programmes (and attempted diet, I can feel her frustration when I slip lol) to suit. She pushes me further than I ever would myself during our sessions but is careful to work around whatever current aches, pains, or injuries I'm carrying. Helga develops your programme to meet your goals so when others in the gym tell me, that looked tough, or she made you work hard there, that is my goal, to be pushed. On top of this she is friendly, and accommodating (with fair notice) to session changes when 'life' gets in the way. She is good giggle now and again too, may as well have a laugh between sets (;)).

Don't be put of, worth every penny too, investing in your health is always worth it. Would recommend, and have recommended.

I approached Helga to help drive me to lose weight, I needed someone to push me to be more active and pay more attention to my diet. As I lived a distance from Brooklands gym where Helga is based we agreed to work remotely.

Helga immediately started looking at my diet and provided nutritional advice and an exercise regime, weights and cardio, for me to start working with.

Throughout our 6 months working together Helga kept weekly check-ins with me but a regular eye on on exercise and diet through the week. I travel for work at times and when this was the case Helga quickly adjusted my workouts to ensure I could use the hotel gym.

Throughout the time Helga was acting as a PT for me she has been patient, supportive and encouraging in exactly the way I needed.

I really can’t recommend Helga enough.

I’ve been working with Helga for just over 2 years. The progress I’ve made during that time has been great, despite my many different injuries! She always finds a way to work around them. She will push you to your limit and help achieve your goals.

I highly recommend Helga to anyone looking to improve their strength and fitness. She has a great attitude and always very friendly!

I’ve been training with Helga for 9 months and it has been wonderful. The best decision of 2024. In my mid forties I was lost in knowing how to get fitter and stronger on my own and knew I had to find a way that worked for me. it was a chance encounter at Brooklands gym where Helga kindly offered me some direction when I was looking at a machine in bewilderment. We now meet weekly to train and I check in with my food intake and complete solo training with a confidence and knowledge of machines and free weights. With a busy life I find this approach the most efficient and rewarding combination. I have slowly built up my strength and see a steady and continuous improvement in my ability however, I have gained so much more in terms of discipline and see many positive improvements in my general wellbeing. I couldn’t recommend Helga more to someone wanting to train with a kind, patient and supportive approach. Discipline and habits are learned slowly but now training feels normal and important and has become a needed and integral part of my weekly routine. Training is no longer a chore but feels achievable and natural and I have Helga to thank for that.

I’ve trained with Helga for the best part of two years. Starting with one session a week and progressing to three per week.

Prior to training with Helga I had barely stepped foot in a gym, had a lot of anxiety about the gym and found it very intimidating. Helga introduced me to structured workouts, guided exercises and ensuring correct form and safely lifting weights etc. All this alleviated my concerns about the gym.

Helga also provided meal / food intake guidance, regular weight/body measurement check ins.

Helga is patient, yet determined to push you to achieve your best!

The gym & fitness workouts are now a passionate hobby of mine - I love it and feel comfortable and confident.

The progress I have made over the two years has been wonderful, and big thanks to Helga!

I've been working with Helga for 3 months now, and am really feeling the benefit. Despite having a 2-week Covid break, my weight has dropped by 5 kgs and my clothes are getting looser! That's because Helga is an expert on diet and nutrition as well as being an encouraging personal trainer. So I am eating healthier as well as exercising. My 2 sessions every week are both challenging and rewarding. And I honestly feel the benefits. I plan to make this a continuous part of my life/health/fitness improvement programme, and thoroughly recommend Helga as a top level personal coach.

Helga is a great personal trainer. I find one of her best attributes is that she understands my psychi. She gets my hang ups and knows how to help me. From my first meeting with her - she got me ! She is working hard with me to increase my strength to help my back pain. I cannot believe how much I have achieved in 2 months. She is helping me with nutrition and encourages me without making me feel under any pressure.
I also appreciate that she conducts our sessions without any fuss and we quietly get on with our training.
I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their fitness/ strength/ nutrition.
