I've been involved with sport my whole life, having an elite gymnast father and marathon running mother. When I was young I took up Chinese martial arts and eventually went on to great sucess and European and World titles. I lived in China at a professional martial arts school for around 10 years, and during that time I developed an interest in coaching and fitness more generally.
Af the age of 29, after winning a bronze in the World Championships, I decided to retire from competitive sports. Suddenly I put on a huge amount of weight and got very depressed. It took me several years and yo-yo diets before I finally got my act in order and made the change I wanted.
I can help people improve strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility or work around injuries or illness. I can also help with weight loss, muscle gain and body confidence issues.
