As a motivated, dedicated, passionate and constantly evolving Personal Trainer, I would be delighted to share my experience and love of fitness in making that journey to your next fitness objective as smooth and supportive as possible.

I’ve made good progress in my fitness goals this year thanks to Connor. He is very knowledgeable, provides simple to follow but interesting and varied programs and is easy to work and get along with, despite his poor choice of football team!

Can't speak highly enough of Connor and thoroughly recommend him and have done to family , friends and workmates Prior to beginning with Connor in March this year ( 2024 ) i was a regular visitor to Forfar Campus gym and although always enjoying my solo visits i seemed to be in a rut . In a rut ( as i later found out ) as although i would do a different part of body on each visit it was all very " samey " , non improving routines .On first meeting Connor he asked if any medical conditions , injuries , full / recent history of exercise and what area(s) of specific fitness i wished to improve on . With that info he tailored a programme for me also taking my measurements and weight as a starting point on our first session . Each and every session with Connor had new exercises i didn't know existed and that and his enthusiasm have spurred me on to a level if fitness i probably tbh haven't been at in about 40 years .For example just a few markers down 8 kg in weight , almost managing to haul my 98 kg up with a pull up and big change in body shape . With the confidence Connor has given me i've been able to attend Citcuit Training , Core and spinning sessions so everything on an upward trajectory. Connor himself is just good craic and with that he manages to relay fairly technical information in a way that is understandable and usable .Looking forward to next bit of fitness journey thanks to Connor . I made the decision to contact Connor in July. He made me feel at ease right away and has been a great help in motivating me to gain strength, lose weight and become fit in my 50s. As a woman in my 50s this is such an important part of managing menopause. Its a very slow process for me to lose weight but my fitness level and strength has improved. This is due to the support from Connor. He is a very nice person who makes me feel at ease. I'd recommend to anyone if they are in any doubt and talk themselves out of taking the steps to reach out to Connor, then just go for it. You will be supported by a young man who is genuine and make you feel okay about being in the gym for the first time.

Well myself Neil & brother Alec, started away back in February with Connor and had our final weight/measurements taken days ago(September 2)

I had my first consultation with Connor this week and I found him to be a kind considerate trainer who was really thorough in his approach. He listened to my history intently and showed a great deal of empathy to my personal situation. I have been working with Connor on a one to one basis for more than a year now and recently completed a 6 week group challenge. When I started, I was intimidated going to the gym and was doing very little exercise. Now I am so much fitter and my confidence has increased loads. Connor is great at devising programmes to suit my abilities while always pushing me to work as hard as I can. He also changes things around every 6 weeks or so to keep it interesting. Connor has been a fantastic support and has great advice on nutrition, health and wellbeing - I would recommend him to anyone thinking about a PT or joining one of his groups.

Well what can I say about Connor, he is a very professional guy and he takes time to explain what parts of your body you are working and why and motivates you in a very nice manner. He tailored my workouts to exactly what I had asked for (to kick start my time back in the Gym and to tone/strengthen my body along with some weight loss). If I was unable to 'do' a certain exercise he was able to show me another one that I would be able to do. I highly recommend Connor if you want a PT who will understand what you want to achieve and help you to get there in his strong but lovely manner.

I started working with Connor around 6 months ago with a few goals in mind. These included becoming stronger, more toned, fitter, finding a way to manage stress and all within a context of looking better for my upcoming wedding at the time. A daunting plan for someone middle aged who'd rarely set foot in a gym! Connor has certainly made this process much easier for me and I have no plan to stop our sessions. I find him clear, enthusiastic, encouraging and extremely knowledgeable. He consistently offers varied and challenging workouts with targeted goals in mind and I consistently enjoy seeing positive results. As a person with a physical disability and chronic pain I was slightly worried about starting at the gym. Working with Connor has helped my confidence so much. He has tailored my workouts to suit my capabilities. He makes changes if I think I can't do what's asked. He's brought me on leaps and bounds over the past couple of months. My shape has completely changed and I've lost both inches and weight. He's very approachable, polite, friendly and, most of all, encouraging. Always on time also!!!! I started going to the gym last year without a plan or program, so when i was approached by Connor, I decided to joined the PT program and I am still here after a few weeks and i am very impressed with Connor's wide knowledge base about nutrition, exercise regimes related to weight loss, gain etc. Connor is polite, friendly, approachable , supportive, and available, which you need from your personal trainer.

I have been working with Connor for a while now and I can highly recommend him as a personal trainer. He has put together a strength training programme for me which is tailored to my specific aims (upper body and core strength) while also taking account of my limitations (previous injuries/joint stiffness). The programme is varied and enjoyable and Connor is very flexible if it turns out that a particular exercise doesn’t suit me, switching to a different exercise on the day if necessary. Connor has a very friendly and professional manner which means I don’t feel self conscious during our sessions, something that has put me off using a personal trainer in the past. I’m really looking forward to my remaining training sessions with him.
