Hi, I'm Chris! I work here at Strode Swimming Pool both as a qualified Personal Trainer and Gym Instructor.
Fitness has been a part of my life since I can remember. I grew up loving football, but my passion for all kinds of sports and physical activities has always driven me to push my limits. This love for fitness led me to become a Level 3 Personal Trainer and Nutritional Adviser, and I’m here to help you achieve your goals, whether it's building strength, improving endurance, or simply living a healthier life.
I’m also qualified in gym-based boxing, circuits, and spin classes. I bring a variety of training styles to make sure every session is fun, challenging, and effective. Let’s work together to unlock your full potential!

I was new to the area and sought local PT recommendations; Chris came highly recommended, and this is how we began working together.
My primary aim was to pass a very specific fitness test, as required in relation to a potential new work role. I’d previously taken this test as my current role is in the same line of work as the potential new one; however this was a lot of years ago, and this needed to be completed anew.
Chris has motivated me to better myself fitness-wise, and I am very evidently improving in fitness under his supervision. He comes across as someone genuinely passionate about his job, and that can only lead to more positive client outcomes. A couple of examples are:
1. Being really flexible on timings and being exceptionally understanding when I had to miss a few PT sessions.
2. Doing research outside PT sessions; this has included hunting down and downloading an app that allows the exact fitness test I will take to be practised. This has been regularly used as a useful training tool in sessions.
Chris has also been instrumental in me understanding more about my own calorie intake, and how maintaining good nutrition can benefit me physically and mentally.
I’m really pleased Chris was the initial recommendation to me, as I would 100% recommend him myself, and will be looking to work with him long term :)
