The gym can be a daunting place, especially if you are just starting out on your fitness journey. But rest assured I stood in those shoes a few years back. After having children, I gained a lot of weight, I hated the way I looked, how my clothes felt and hid in huge hoodies, I would avoid things like swimming with the kids. I joined a gym, although, I didn’t believe I could change, I hid at the back of classes, still in my hoodie! I was eventually approached by a PT who believed in me much more than I did at that time. My journey with this person has inspired me to help others. Training has become a big part of my life now, I fell in love with the process, I lost weight, felt better about myself and not only am I physically stronger I am mentally stronger and more confident.
If you are wanting to learn how to change your lifestyle in a manageable and sustainable way and feel better about yourself we can work together on setting goals and working to achieve them, training doesn’t have to be just about weight loss, maybe you want to be stronger, or you play a sport and want to build stamina, or like me you just want to keep up with the kids on days out!
